Attorney Miguel Daniel Abadi was born in San Isidro (Northern Buenos Aires). He studied at the first Jewish schools in Buenos Aires, “Bnai Israel School.” He completed high school at a state school in San Isidro while also studying at a high school affiliated with the Rabbinical Seminary of Buenos Aires. He completed his law studies at the Faculty of Law at the National University of Buenos Aires, and in 1985 received a Master’s degree in Law.
Attorney Miguel Abadi served as a director in various private companies (Botonera Avellaneda, Merceria La Australia). He provided legal counsel in the central parliament and local councils on constitutional matters in Argentina. He was a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association and was active in the San Isidro Bar Association (Civil Law Committee and Sports Committee).
He was active in Jewish organizations in Buenos Aires, serving as representative and legal advisor for community institutions (Or Mizrach Synagogue, Chabad Lubavitch, sports clubs, Sephardic-Argentinian club, Martinez-Hebrew association, Bnai Israel School, and Shalom Aleichem School).
Before emigrating to Israel, he managed a law firm in Buenos Aires. The firm represented companies, banks, businesspeople, and politicians and remains active today, specializing in commercial law, labor law, and civil law.
In Israel, Attorney Miguel Abadi is active in the “Latin American Immigrants” organization, assisting and supporting new immigrants. Since 2004 he has also been a member of the Israel Bar Association, and following his certification to practice law in Israel, he established a private office offering legal and notarial services. His practice in Israel currently includes the management of assets in Israel and abroad, in cooperation with local attorneys. The firm advises and executes cross-border transactions, bridging gaps arising from differing laws in various countries. In 1990 the firm expanded with the addition of Attorney Leonardo Abadi (labor and damages law) and in 1991 with Attorney Carina Mermelstein (commercial law and corporate counsel). Since 1986, Miguel Abadi also served as a lecturer in civil and constitutional law at the National University of Buenos Aires (Faculty of Law).
